Born in Alaska and raised in Southern California, this young vocalist has a style and power well beyond her years. It’s hard not to be reminded of the old greats when she sings traditional blues for which she has developed quite a love. But, she has a very broad vocal-style range and will knock your socks off with Broadway, modern pop, rock and R&B too!!
This year Desiree performed with the legendary Linda Hopkins at the Tony winner’s annual birthday show and recently appeared on two episodes of Ed McMahon’s “Next Big Star” television show. She has been performing in Community Theater since age 12, with roles in adaptations of such musicals as West Side Story, Grease and Cats. She currently performs regularly with The Bullfrog Blues band as both a backup singer and featured soloist. Most recently Desiree was selected as one of the top 45 young vocalists in the country in a National talent search competition.
Just recently, Desiree peformed in the Star 98.7 Star Search, where she was selected as one of five finalists in the show.
